Coach House Newsletter
St Marys Coach House Arts and Crafts Centre During the long, cold months of January and February the Coach House has continued to provide a warm welcome to all visitors and users, despite a boiler breakdown over the Christmas holiday period. We held a special carol service in St Marys Church led by Ruth in December which was particularly enjoyed by our special needs groups. The No Limits Community Project has extended its activities with a new art workshop class on Friday afternoons which includes drama and music. Exciting plans are in hand for a collaborative activity with The Bridge local radio station. Now is the time to shake off those winter blues and get fit for 2010. Several new courses are being offered at the Coach house which should provide opportunities for exercise, therapy and healthy life styles. Belly dancing is a popular group activity and visitors are invited to try a taster session on Wednesday evenings. With weight managers and Pilates classes on Thursday evenings and monthly Slimming World sessions on Saturday mornings the Coach House provides something for everyone. The programme of cultural and art activities continues with The Coach House Writers on Tuesday mornings and Art for All on Friday afternoons. A new venture is to be offered in May with a week-end Resound Workshop which will be a kaleidoscope of music, sound and vibration. Gift Stall, Cakes, Books, Jam and Marmalade, |
